Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh city (L, D)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your selected hotel in Saigon City. Saigon to Siem Reap tours start. Known as the southern center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism of Vietnam, nowadays, this city is a big and developed one with lots of bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafe. If time permits, we can make a walk around to discover the daily life of the locals. We come to a local restaurant for lunch.
Then we start Saigon to Siem Reap tours by exploring a bustling Saigon with such attractive destinations as the Old Colonial Residential Quarter; the City’s old Hotel, a palace built by the French architect; the Opera House (1990), inspired by the architecture of the Opera Garnier in Paris; Notre-Dame Cathedral (1877), known as among the most Ho Ch Minh's architectural marvels; Post Office signed by Gustave Eiffel; and the Jade Emperor Pagoda as well.
Then our driver will transfer back to your hotel in Saigon. Dinner is served in a local restaurant. Stay overnight in Saigon City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre - Cai Be - Mekong Lodge (B, L, D)
At 8:30 am, our driver will come to pick you up at your hotel in Saigon City and transfer to Cai Be (110km- 2h30’ by car). Upon arrival, our guide will greet and lead you to Mekong lodge by junk as well as instruct you to check in your private bungalows for continuing the trip. After having delicious lunch in the restaurant and a short break, at 15:00, we continue Saigon to Siem Reap tours to go for a walk or ride your bicycle around the Lodge to explore the daily life of the locals and enjoy the fresh air in the peaceful villages. Then we board a sampan boat to have a visit to local orchards and try some fresh and delicious fruits. At 18:00, you take a great chance to attend a Vietnamese cooking class to learn how to make some traditional food and enjoy your own dishes. Please remember that the bar opens from 7:00 am to 12:00 am, which lies near the swimming pool. Stay overnight at the Mekong Lodge (authentic | swimming pool | nice garden).
Day 3: Mekong Lodge - Cai Be Floating Market - Sa Dec - Chau Doc (B, L)
Breakfast in the restaurant then we start the third day of Saigon to Siem Reap tours with a cruise on our rowing boats to explore Cai Be floating and ground market. You later visit local homes making rice cake, coconut candy, caramel souffle cake and other traditional specialties to witness the production of them. You can even try some local honey tea, which is a typical tea of the northern people. Come back to the Lodge. After checking out at 11:00 am, you will be transferred to Cai Be harbor then our driver will lead you to Chau Doc by via Sa Dec. On the way, we make a stop at the Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, dating from the 18 century, where Huynh Thuy Le, the 27-year-old son of the most reputable family in Dong Thap once used. This ancient house witnessed the romantic love between Huynh Thuy Le and a French writer Marguerite Duras. After lunch at Huynh Thuy Le house, we go on the trip with a visit to Kien An Cung pagoda, Trung Vuong school. On arrival in Chau Doc, after checking in your selected hotel, the rest of the night is at your leisure. Stay overnight at Chau Doc.
Day 4: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh by express boat in 6h (B, L)
Breakfast then we transfer to the boat ferry. Passing the Cambodian border by waterway, we go on Saigon to Siem Reap tours with a visit to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia (6-hour express boat). Once known as the most beautiful city in Indochina, nowadays, it is the official capital of Cambodia and still retains its own charming beauty. Situated in the center of Phnom Penh s the Royal Palace, which is now home to the royal family. At the northern area of the palace grounds is Silver Pagoda, the most sacred shrine in the country. Travelling here, both the Royal Palace and Silver is the first and must-visit destination. We can also explore the legendary temple of Wat Phnom reciting Phnom Penh's name.

Day 5: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap / by express boat (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning then we head to Phnom Penh Pier for the boat trip to Siem Reap along the Tonle Sap River. It takes 4 to 6 hours to get to Siem Reap depending on each season. From the center of Siem Reap, you can make a visit to Angkor city, once the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire (802 AD - 1350 AD) On arrival in Siem Reap, after check-in the hotel, you have free time to make a stroll around this beautiful city.

Day 6: Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat (B, L)
Breakfast then we kick off the sixth day of Saigon to Siem Reap tours with an interesting trip to Angkor Thom, beginning at the South Gate entrance. You later have a chance to explore the main temple of Bayon (4-Faced Temple) to admire the last great temple built at the Angkor complex. We keep exploring Great City with visits to such famous spots as Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
After the lunch, we go on Saigon to Siem Reap tours by discovering the most magnificent and largest of all Angkor temples, symbolizing for the spirit of the Angkorian. Especially, you have a chance to watch the sunset on the temples and admire the fantastic views of Angkor Wat. Day 7: Siem Reap - Roluos Group - Departure (B)
Wake up early in the morning then we spend the last day of your tour exploring temples of the Roluos, which are built from the early Angkor period (802-1431), starting with a visit to Preah Ko, the first temple built in the ancient time. Then we go on visiting Preah Ko (Sacred Bull), which was named after the 3 sandstone statues facing the temple's central towers, representing Nandi, the white bull that served as the mount of Shiva. The last visit of the temple tour is Lolei, famed for its beautiful carved lintels and false doors.
We return to your hotel for checkout. The last of the day is at your leisure then our driver will come to transfer you to the airport for the flight. Lunch and dinner are on your own.
