First constructed in 1653, this small temple is built to dedicate to Quan Cong, an esteemed Chinese general. He is worshipped as a symbol of loyalty, sincerity, integrity and justice. Inside the temple, there is a partially gilded statue on the central altar at the back of the sanctuary, which is made of paper mâché on a wooden frame. Upon taking your step to this temple, visitors will be amazed its stunning architecture as well as some brilliant statues. Due to its little temple, it won’t take you long to discover but it is worth spending your time in this temple as the back is very peaceful and the front part has a striking roof as well as being decorated in a typically atmospheric style.
