ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang (D)
On arrival in Luang Prabang Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide then transfer to your selected hotel in downtown Luang Prabang.  Tours Laos Vietnam start. After a short break, in the afternoon, our guide will greet you with a welcome drink and tour briefing. In case you arrive in the late afternoon, it is done in the your dinner. Stay overnight Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Discovery of Luang Prabang (B, L)
Known as an appealing ancient city, Luang Prabang features historical and cultural values recognized by a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We start the second day of Tours Laos Vietnam at this ancient town with visits to some attractive monasteries in town and the Royal Palace as well as the museum. We later come back to a local restaurant for lunch. Then in the afternoon, you make a visit to some remote areas and local markets where you have a chance to get knowledge about the history of Luang Phabang as well as witness the daily life of the citizens.
You return to the center town of Luang Prabang for overnight. Dinner is on your own.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Nong Khiaw - Muang Ngoi Kao (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel then we join a cruise trip (hour cruise) on the boat along the Mekong River. Enroute, we make a stop at the paper-making village, Lao sticky rice wine making village and Pak Ou Cave (1000 Buddha Cave). The boat later sails to Nam Ou River, known as the longest inland river inland and reach Pha Lai restaurant for lunch. The cruise itinerary gives you a chance to admire the stunning scenery and mountainous landscapes.
The last place of Tours Laos Vietnam on the third day is Muang Ngoi around 5:00 pm where you can enjoy your dinner with local dishes. Stay overnight in a guesthouse Muang Ngoi Kao.

Day 4: Muong Ngoi Kao - Muang Khua (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning, enjoy the amazing sunrise, have your breakfast then we keep our trip up the Nam Ou past picturesque scenery. On the way to Muang Khua, we stop on the river bank for the lunch with local dishes. On arrival in Muang Khua, you come to a guest house for the night. Situated 45 km from the border of Lao and Vietnam, nowadays, this small undiscovered town is open for international travellers.
From here, Tours Laos Vietnam head to Vietnam for the next interesting destinations. Dinner is on your own and overnight in the guest house or similar.

Day 5: Muang Khua - Tay Trang Border - Dien Bien Phu | 100 km (B, L)
Breakfast then we start a new day with Tours Laos Vietnam trip via one of the most hidden area lying between Laos – Vietnam border namely Tay Trang border. If you go across it in the rainy seasons, you have a chance to admire several beautiful river crossings along this bumpy ride.
On arrival in Tay Trang border, you will be greeted by our Vietnamese guide and transfer to your selected hotel in Dien Bien Phu for check-in. Situated in Muong Thanh valley, about 45 km form Laos, Dien Bien Phu once was a war battle during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it is a historic place for those who love history and want to learn more about a part of Vietnamese history. On arrival in Dien Bien Phu, you have self-service dinner. Stay overnight in Muong Thanh hotel.

Day 6: Dien Bien Phu - visiting (B, L)
Wake up in Muong Thanh hotel then we keep Tours Laos Vietnam by exploring this historical city with such famous sites as De Castries bunker, the Dien Bien Phu museum, the A1 hill…Lunch is served in a local restaurant. After the meal, the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this city. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Dien Bien Phu.

Day 7: Dien Bien Phu - Sin Ho - Tam Duong | 235 km (B, L)
Enjoy your breakfast then we transfer to Sin Ho, famed for its medical plantation and its tropical orchid variety. On the way, we take a great opportunity to admire the poetic scenery as well as make a short talk with the ethnic minority groups as White Thai, White Hmong…
On arrival in Sin Ho, you can enjoy your lunch. After the meal, we continue Tours Laos Vietnam to head to Tam Duong, a small town situated on a confluence of Black River, famous for its giant catfish. We later reach Paso in the late afternoon for check-in. After self-service dinner, the rest of the night is at your leisure to relax in the hotel on the river.

Day 8: Tam Duong - Sapa | 80km (B, L)
Breakfast then we continue to explore Tam Duong, starting with a visit to the Tam Duong Multi-Ethnic Market, where you have a chance to talk with local people, learn more about their culture or shop for interesting handicraft products. The next destination today is Pa Pe, a village of the Lu minority. The typical feature of the locals here is that they own black teeth. When girls are 10, they start chewing a certain type of plant which makes their teeth black later.
Ending the trip of the village, we head to Sapa, famous for prideful natural beauty spots. On the way, we make a stop at Tram Ton Pass -the highest pass in Vietnam with the height of 1900 meters to sightsee the heaven door as well as large mountainous landscapes and Silver Waterfall. On arrival in Sapa, you spend the night in a hotel. Dinner is on your own. Enjoy your wonderful time of Tours Laos Vietnam in Sapa. 

Day 9: Sa Pa - Ma Tra village - Ta Phin village - Sapa (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast, it is time for you to discover the traditional village of Sapa and its local market.  Trekking from Sapa town through Ma Tra village and Ta Phin village. We have lunch at a local restaurant. This itinerary offers you a unique opportunity to contemplate terraced rice fields, beautiful mountains and discover the daily life of ethnic groups like Black Hmong and Red Dao minority.
We come back to Sapa town by car. Dinner on your own and overnight in Sapa.

Day 10: Sapa - Lao Chai Village - Ta Van villageHanoi by car (B, L)
Breakfast in the early in the morning, the first destination of Tours Laos Vietnam today is Lao Chai village of the Black H’Mong ethnic groups, which gives you a chance to have the whole view of the beautiful valley.
Upon arrival in the village, you have free time to have a walk around the village meet the villagers and visit their traditional church while our guide will prepare the meals for you.
After having lunch and taking a rest, we keep exploring surrounding areas of Lao Chai village. We continue to visit Ta Van village (Dzay ethnic) villages where take a chance to walk around the village, enjoy the peaceful life, explore the daily life of ethnic minority people as well as admiring the rural landscapes of rice fields, beautiful rivers.
Come back to Sapa by car and waiting for the Express Bus with a road distance of 400km by the highway. We arrive in Hanoi at around 21h30 (the departure and return time is changeable if you take a private car). Then we come to your hotel for check-in. Dinner is on your own. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi – City tour (B, L)
Wake up in the morning, enjoy your breakfast then we start a new day of Tours Laos Vietnam in Hanoi with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), a large memorial in Hanoi, which is the resting place of Viet Minh leader Ho Chi Minh, founder. The next destination of your visit today is the One Pillar Pagoda, the emperor Lý Thái Tông, first built in 1049 by erecting a pillar in the middle of a lotus pond after he had a dream vision of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. You keep exploring Ancient Hanoi with an exploration of the Temple of Literature, the first national university in Vietnam first founded by the time of King Lý Nhân Tông. Lunch is served in a local restaurant.
A short break at noon then you continue Tours Laos Vietnam with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology where you have a chance to witness the documents of 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. We continue the tour with The Old Quarter. You will take 1.5 hours to wander around the narrow corner of Ancient Hanoi. It includes 36 old streets, each of which represents the type of merchandise sold in.
After enjoying the ancient atmosphere of streets as Hang Buom, Ta Hien, Dinh Le, Hang Be (famed for its typical food named Mam Tep Chung Thit) and witnessing the daily life of local here, we go on visiting Hoan Kiem Lake, meaning Lake of the Returned Sword. From here you can enjoy a very nice walk along the lake or back to the hotel. You should your camera and take a beautiful picture on The Huc red bridge to Ngoc Son Temple. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 12 : Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)  (160 km – 3h30)
Breakfast and then the Tours Laos Vietnam itinerary gives our guests the opportunity to Halong Bay - the UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Quang Ninh Province. Once there at around 12h30, you will board on a traditional junk for a memorable cruise through the mystical Halong Bay. While peacefully sailing across the Bay, you might enjoy fresh seafood lunch.
The first stop is the most magical and beautiful cave – Sung Sot Cave means Surprised Cave or Amazing Cave, which is one of the most spectacular grottoes of Ha Long Bay. We will then stop on Titop island, where you can go for a swim, do kayaking and climb to the top of the island to admire a stunning panoramic view of the bay.
After enjoying a fresh seafood dinner on the bay, you can relax and spend the evening watching films or go for squid fishing. Stay overnight on the boat.

Day 13: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
Wake up in the next morning at sunrise, then we join a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck if booked in advance. Enjoying an energizing breakfast then we begin a busy and interesting day with a visit to Luon Cave by small boat. The boat later passes Man Head Island and Tortoise Island. While the boat heads back the pier, it is time for you to check out the cabin and pay all your bills before leaving for the next destination. On the way back, you have a chance to join a demonstration of cutting flowers from fruits and roots. On arriving at the pier, you will check you, leave the junk and transfer to Cua Vang for lunch or you can have the meal on the boat (optional).
Then our driver will transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi for the night. Stay overnight in Hanoi. Enjoy your last night of Tours Laos Vietnam in Hanoi. 

Day 14: Hanoi - Departure (B)
Breakfast then the rest of the last day is at your leisure to discover the city or shop for souvenirs. Then our driver will come to pick you up then transfer to the airport of Hanoi for the international flight.
