Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will transfer you to your selected hotel for check-in. In the early evening, you have a chance to watch a water puppet performance, a distinct traditional art of Vietnam in which split-bamboo screen puppets controlled by the hidden people perform in the water. Then you enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – City tour (B, L)
Wake up in the morning, enjoy your breakfast then we start a new day in Hanoi with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), a large memorial in Hanoi, which is the resting place of Viet Minh leader Ho Chi Minh, founder. The next destination of your visit today is the One Pillar Pagoda, the emperor Lý Thái Tông, first built in 1049 by erecting a pillar in the middle of a lotus pond after he had a dream vision of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. You keep exploring Ancient Hanoi with an exploration of the Temple of Literature, the first national university in Vietnam first founded by the time of King Lý Nhân Tông. Lunch is served in a local restaurant.
A short break at noon then you continue to visit the Museum of Ethnology where you have a chance to witness the documents of 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. We continue the tour with The Old Quarter. You will take 1.5 hours to wander around the narrow corner of Ancient Hanoi. It includes 36 old streets, each of which represents the type of merchandise sold in.
After enjoying the ancient atmosphere of streets as Hang Buom, Ta Hien, Dinh Le, Hang Be (famed for its typical food named Mam Tep Chung Thit) and witnessing the daily life of local here, we go on visiting Hoan Kiem Lake, meaning Lake of the Returned Sword. From here you can enjoy a very nice walk along the lake or back to the hotel. You should your camera and take a beautiful picture on The Huc red bridge to Ngoc Son Temple. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning in Hanoi, enjoy your breakfast then we head to the countryside of northern Vietnam to Hoa Lu, known as the first capital of Vietnam.
On arrival in Hoa Lu at 10:30 am, you first visit the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel Hoa Lu: Temple of King Dinh and King Le.
We later come to a local restaurant for the meal at 12.00. After the lunch, you are guided to go to your selected homestay in Tam Coc for the meal. You start your afternoon trip with an exploration of Linh Coc - Thung Nham where you have a chance to join a cruise trip on a small boat through rice fields to caves. What makes Linh Coc - Thung Nham differ from other famous spot is its enormous limestone karsts jut out from the green rice fields.
You end of your visit today is Bich Dong pagoda, lying nearby Ngu Nhac Mountain consisting of 3 structures: Ha, Trung, and Thượng Pagodas. In the late afternoon, you will come back to your homestay. The rest of the night is at your leisure. Dinner is on your own and stays overnight in a homestay in Tam Coc. If desired, you can choose to stay in a hotel in Tam Coc.
Day 4: Tam Coc - Halong (overnight on Junk Cruise) (B, L, D)
We start an early morning in Tam Coc, then head to Halong City for an amazing experience in Halong Bay - the World Heritage Site listed by Unesco located in Quang Ninh Province. Once there at around 12h30, you will board on a traditional junk for a memorable cruise through the mystical Halong Bay. While peacefully sailing across the Bay, you might enjoy fresh seafood lunch.
The first stop is the most magical and beautiful cave – Sung Sot Cave means Surprised Cave or Amazing Cave, which is one of the most spectacular grottoes of Ha Long Bay. We will then stop on Titop island, where you can go for a swim, do kayaking and climb to the top of the island to admire a stunning panoramic view of the bay.
After enjoying a fresh seafood dinner on the bay, you can relax and spend the evening watching films or go for squid fishing. Stay overnight on the boat.
Day 5: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
Wake up in the next morning at sunrise, then we join a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck if booked in advance. Enjoying an energizing breakfast then we begin a busy and interesting day with a visit to Luon Cave by small boat. The boat later passes Man Head Island and Tortoise Island. While the boat heads back the pier, it is time for you to check out the cabin and pay all your bills before leaving for the next destination. On the way back, you have a chance to join a demonstration of cutting flowers from fruits and roots. on arriving at the pier, you will check you, leave the junk and transfer to Cua Vang for lunch or you can have the meal on the boat (optional).
Then our driver will transfer you to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, you are guided to your hotel for the night. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi - flight to Luang Prabang (B, L)
After breakfast, our driver will meet you at your hotel then transfer to the airport for a short flight to Luang Prabang. Known as the former heart of the ancient kingdom of Laos, Luang Prabang nowadays is listed as World Heritage site with lots of ornate temples, French colonial architecture. On arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you start exploring attractive destinations such as the National Museum, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong.
You later go uphill to the peak of Phousi Mountain to sightsee the whole view of the sacred, gilded stupa, as well as watch the amazing sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. You end of the today trip with a visit to the Night Market, where you have a chance to witness the daily life of the locals as well as shop for some traditional crafts and handmade textiles. Then our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Luangprabang. Lunch is served at a local restaurant and dinner on your own. Stay overnight in Luangprabang.
Day 7: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave (B, L)
08:00 start a new day with a tour to sightsee the oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the Wat Xiengthong with its unique roofs, presenting the typical structure of Luang Prabang temple.
Then we continue to take a boat to view the peaceful rural surroundings of the MeKong River as well as make a stop to explore the mysterious beauty of Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. At noon, we head to a local restaurant for lunch. After a short break, the first stop of the afternoon trip is Ban Xang Hai village, where you can try their traditional wine.
On the way back, we go across local villages at Ban Xieng Mene and Ban Chan before keep exploring the royal temple at Wat Long Khoun, which was used to the royal family patronage and near Sackarine Caves. The last place of your visit today is Ban Phanom, famed for its and weaving before returning to the city for the night. Dinner is on your own. Stay overnight in your hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 8: Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Waterfall (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning, then we start an early morning with a visit to the locals for Tak Bat almsgiving to local monks as part of the original old culture. After the meal, we head to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall (30 km) to admire the majestic beauty of this waterfall as well as join some interesting activities as swimming, relaxing, and trekking to the peak of the fall.
On the way back to the town, we make a stop for a while at a Black Hmong's village, where you observe their daily life as well as shop for some handicraft souvenirs for your family and friend.
Upon arrival back, the rest of the day is at your leisure to relax with a cup of tea or coffee or you can plan go shopping with your friends or family. Dinner is on your own. Stay overnight in Luangprabang.
Day 9: Luang Prabang - Siem Reap (B) / by plane
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. On arrival in Siem Reap, after check-in at your selected hotel, you have free time to discover this beautiful city. Then we will take you to the Central market in Siem Reap for visiting. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. Dinner is on your over and overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat (B)
Breakfast then we kick off a day with an interesting trip to Angkor Thom, beginning at the South Gate entrance. You later have a chance to explore the main temple of Bayon (4-Faced Temple) to admire the last great temple built at the Angkor complex. We keep exploring Great City with visits to such famous spots as Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
After the lunch, we go on discovering the most magnificent and largest of all Angkor temples, symbolizing for the spirit of the Angkorian. Especially, you have a chance to watch the sunset on the temples and admire the fantastic views of Angkor Wat. Returning to Siem Reap for a buffet night meal, you can spend your night seeing a traditional Apsara dance and evoking classical myths.

Day 11: Siem Reap - Rolous Group - Banteay Srei - Siem Reap (B, L)
We spend the last day of your tour exploring temples of the Roluos, which are built from the early Angkor period (802-1431), starting with a visit to Preah Ko, the first temple built in the ancient time. Then we go on visiting Preah Ko (Sacred Bull), which was named after the 3 sandstone statues facing the temples, central towers, representing Nandi, the white bull that served as the mount of Shiva. The last visit of the temple tour is Lolei, famed for its beautiful carved lintels and false doors.
You later come back to the local family of the lunch. After the meal, we spend the rest of the day exploring temples of the Banteay Srey, famed for its finest carvings of all the Angkor temples. On the way back to Siem Reap, if time permits, we make a stop at Banteay Samre Temple, famed for its impressive reliefs depicting scenes of Vishnu as well as Krishna legends. You have your self-service dinner and stay overnight in a hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 12 : Siem Reap - departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel then we head to the southern party of Siem Reap for a short cruise on Tonle Sap lake. While sailing along Tonle Sap Lake, we make a stop at a local floating village have a chance to talk with the locals here to get more knowledge about to their routine life as well as witness how they make a living on Tonle Sap Lake.
You later come back to your hotel for relaxing until our driver comes to pick you up and transfers to the airport for your departure flight going home.
