Bai Tu Long Bay - Beautiful and mysterious girl

Located in the Gulf of Tonkin in the North East of Vietnam, Bai Tu Long bay is comprised of a seaport of Ha Long City, Cam Pha City and Van Don Island District, Quang Ninh Province. Bai Tu Long Bay consists of hundreds of large and small islands, many of which are large and populated.

Established on June 1, 2001, located in the Bai Tu Long Bay area and adjacent to the World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long National Park is truly a gift of nature, is the "treasure" of the biosphere between the offshore waters of the North East of Vietnam.

Bai Tu Long NP has a total area of ​​15,783 hectares, of which forest and forest land is 6,125 hectares with more than 40 islands and 9,650 hectares of seawater and flooded areas; including 1,909 animal and plant species, including 72 animal species and 30 plant species listed in Vietnam Red Book.

The geological structure of Bai Tu Long National Park consists of islands lying interspersed with rocky islands such as: Ba Mun, Tra Ngo Lon, Ngoc Nho, Nam Bo, Sau Dong, Dong Ma, Hon Chinh, Lo Ho, Mang Ha. Nam, Ha Bac trough, Di To, Chu Chay, Da Khoi, Soi Nhu, there are limestone mountains surrounding the wide valleys that make up the habitat creating a rich habitat of many other plants and animals together.

Bai Tu Long National Park has a great potential for tourism development, especially ecotourism.
